था :
(१) उच्च अदालतको मुख्य न्यायाधीश वा न्यायाधीशलाई न्यायाधीशको पदमा बाहेक अन्य कुनै पदमा काममा लगाइने वा काजमा खटाइने छैन । तर नेपाल सरकारले न्याय परिषदसँग परामर्श गरी उच्च अदालतको न्यायाधीशलाई न्यायिक जाँचबुझको काममा वा केही खास अवधिका लागि कानून वा न्याय सम्बन्धी अनुसन्धान, अन्वेषण वा राष्ट्रिय सरोकारको कुनै काममा खटाउन सक्नेछ ।
(२) न्याय परिषदको सिफारिसमा प्रधान न्यायाधीशले उच्च अदालतका न्यायाधीशलाई एक उच्च अदालतको न्यायाधीशबाट अर्को उच्च अदालतको न्यायाधीशमा सरुवा गर्न सक्नेछ ।
(1) No Chief Judge or Judge of a High Court shall be engaged in or deputed to any office other than that of Judge. Provided that the Government of Nepal may, in consultation with the Judicial Council, depute a Judge of the High Court to work concerning judicial 94 inquiry, or to legal or judicial investigation or research or to any business of national concern for any specific period.
(2) The Chief Justice may, on recommendation of the Judicial Council, transfer a Judge of a High Court to another High Court.
