(१) राष्ट्रपतिले राज्यको तर्फबाट प्रदान गरिने उपाधि, सम्मान र विभूषण प्रदान गर्नेछ ।
(२) नेपाल सरकारबाट स्वीकृति प्राप्त नगरी नेपालको कुनै नागरिकले कुनै विदेशी सरकारबाट प्रदान गरिने उपाधि, सम्मान वा विभूषण ग्रहण गर्नु हुँदैन ।
(1) The President shall confer titles, honours and decorations to be conferred on behalf of the State.
(2) No citizen of Nepal may, without the approval of the Government of Nepal, accept any title, honour or decoration from any foreign government.
