Ram Chandra Poudel is a senior Nepali politician and the President of Nepal since March 2023. A longtime leader of the Nepali Congress, he has served as Speaker, Deputy Prime Minister, and held key ministerial roles. Known for his role in Nepal’s democratic movement, he received Japan’s Order of the Rising Sun for promoting Nepal–Japan relations.
